Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all operational processes, ensuring that inventory from designated plants is unloaded and that transfers to external warehouses are efficiently managed.
  • Oversee the picking operations, ensuring timely completion of customer pickups and the loading of LTL and CVL shipments.
  • Manage the put-away processes to ensure adherence to protocols and availability of space for incoming stock.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all equipment and the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance for all forklifts and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure proper management of battery maintenance and schedule necessary repairs.
  • Act as a backup for the Logistics Coordinator when required.
  • Verify the correct loading of TLS, LTL, and CPUs concerning weight, accuracy, and drop order, adhering to any specified instructions.
  • Operate various equipment including reach trucks, tow motors, order pickers, standing extenders, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Maintain precise records.
  • Train and mentor staff while addressing any employee concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Previous experience in logistics is preferred.

  • Ability to utilize company-specific software applications.
