Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse - Travel Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as a travel nurse. As a PICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to critically ill children, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This is a travel position, and you will have the opportunity to work in a new and challenging environment while enjoying the benefits of travel nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 2+ years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
