Job Title: Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician

A Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of industrial trucks, refuel trucks, forklifts, and other equipment used in the service and maintenance of aircraft and the dispensing of aviation fuels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair operational problems with industrial trucks, refuel trucks, forklifts, and other equipment
  • Perform scheduled checks and preventative maintenance as prescribed by manufacturer or management
  • Replace parts on tractors, trucks, lifts, belt loaders, and other equipment
  • Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, electrical systems, and other equipment
  • Change tires and perform other routine maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
Work Environment:

The Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to various weather conditions and loud noises.

The physical demands of this job require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing for extended periods. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
