Responsibilities- Administer medications accurately and safely, following the resident's medication administration record (MAR) and physician's orders.
- Understand and implement the 'Six Rights of Medication Administration' and adhere to Bickford's policies and procedures regarding medication management.
- Utilize the electronic medication administration record (eMAR) system to streamline medication administration and improve resident care.
- Communicate effectively with clinical leadership to clarify and direct resident medication administration and care.
- Provide direct resident care and supervise the work of non-licensed team members, ensuring high-quality care and services.
- Lead by example, demonstrating the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' to all team members on shift.
- Active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
- Willingness to take additional training or education, as required by specific states.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Competent in utilizing Bickford's eMAR system and other technology to improve resident care and services.
