Job Summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled Healthcare Business Banking Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our credit analysis team, you will be responsible for approving the extension of Healthcare Business Banking credits and making recommendations to the final lending decisions on new, renewal, and extension loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers.
  • Review customer accounts and portfolios to identify, evaluate, and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues.
  • Use technological tools, including computer software, to assist in the credit analysis process and make recommendations and/or decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective credit risk management and minimize potential loss to the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically five or more years of relevant experience in credit analysis, credit administration, or a related field.
  • Strong credit analysis and analytical skills, with a background in economics, accounting, and/or finance.
  • Effective technical report writing skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including nCino.
