Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care.
- Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers.
- Progress from novice to competent within a specialty, and be eligible to apply for advancement to proficient or expert status as outlined in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP).
- Ensure that access to information is based on a 'need to know' and is the minimum necessary to properly perform assigned duties.
- Make reasonable efforts to ensure that information is adequately protected from unauthorized access and modification.
- Hourly Min: $36.73
- Hourly Max: $60.93
