Position Title: Clinical Training Coordinator (Certified Medical Assistant/LVN)
Overview: The Clinical Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of clinic personnel, working closely with the Nurse Administrator. This position is responsible for the orientation of new employees, conducting competency evaluations, streamlining operational processes, and promoting best practices in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate training sessions for Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses, including skills evaluations
- Propose and execute innovative operational workflows
- Deliver practical training experiences on the clinical floor
- Engage in quality assurance and enhancement projects
- Collaborate with multiple departments to achieve organizational objectives
- Assess and address educational needs of staff
- Work within primary care settings such as Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and others
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant or nursing program
- Certification as a CMA or LVN in California
- Experience in outpatient clinic environments is preferred
- Prior training experience is advantageous
- Understanding of patient care workflows
Compensation: $21 - $35 per hour, commensurate with certification and experience
