Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Facility Manager, completes general building maintenance, electrical/mechanical preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, snow removal, office relocations, and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, including electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance.
- Conduct painting and drywall repair as needed.
- Assist with snow removal and office relocations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
Requirements:
- Formal training, indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid State driver's license and good driving record.
- Above-average mechanical aptitude and ability.
- A conscientious approach to safety.
- Ability to work independently and read blueprints.
Physical Guidelines:
- Ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position, and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day.
- Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Push equipment weighing up to 175 pounds.
- Climb ladders.
