Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Facility Manager, completes general building maintenance, electrical/mechanical preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, snow removal, office relocations, and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general building maintenance tasks, including electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct painting and drywall repair as needed.
  • Assist with snow removal and office relocations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.

Requirements:

  • Formal training, indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid State driver's license and good driving record.
  • Above-average mechanical aptitude and ability.
  • A conscientious approach to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and read blueprints.

Physical Guidelines:

  • Ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position, and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Push equipment weighing up to 175 pounds.
  • Climb ladders.
