About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Washington DC. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure resident rooms are ready for receiving, including making beds, placing name tags, and providing admission kits.
  • Greet residents by name and escort them to their rooms.
  • Introduce residents to their roommates, other residents, and unit staff.
  • Make residents comfortable, including assisting with bed changes, orienting them to their room and unit, and providing call light systems.
  • Inventory and mark residents' personal possessions according to procedure.
  • Store residents' clothing neatly in closets and drawers.
  • Assist residents with packing their personal possessions when transferring to a new room or being discharged.
  • Transport residents to new rooms or receiving areas.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified as a Nursing Assistant within Washington DC.
  • Working experience as a nursing assistant in medical-surgical, psychiatric, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or intellectual developmental disabilities (preferred).
