Photographer Associate

The Washington Nationals is seeking a skilled Photographer Associate to join our team. As a key member of the Photography Team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that showcase the ballpark experience.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the visual storytelling of the Washington Nationals' brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with game day photography needs, including promotions, activations, and fan photos.
- Edit top images from live feeds during games for immediate social media use.
- Cull through post-game images and edit them using a team preset for a cohesive look.
- Maintain and organize the team's online photo archiving system (Photoshelter) and distribute images to departments.
- Caption and tag photos in Photo Mechanic with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Photo Team to fulfill photo requests from various departments.
- Assist with team operations and other imaging needs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of photography experience, preferably in professional or college sports organizations.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with Photo Mechanic and ability to write metadata.
- Experience with Photoshelter and file management.
- Good working knowledge of Apple Mac OS.
- Action-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $17.50 per hour. The contractor is an equal opportunity employer and provides a competitive benefits package.
