About the Role

ARA is seeking a highly skilled Technical Editor to join our team. As a key member of our CAD division, you will play a vital role in reviewing and revising complex intelligence products to ensure they meet the highest standards of clarity, format, and content.

This exciting opportunity requires a strong background in editing and review, with experience in copyediting, proofreading, and ensuring compliance with established style guides. You will also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of information and working closely with analysts to finalize reviews before publication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and revise complex intelligence products to ensure clarity, format, and content meet the highest standards.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and ensure compliance with established style guides.
  • Verify the accuracy of information and work closely with analysts to finalize reviews before publication.
  • Develop guides and/or templates to support analyst teams in producing high-quality intelligence deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in reviewing and editing complex, specialized intelligence products.
  • Current familiarity with performing technical editor duties for an IC production element.
  • Working knowledge of established Intelligence Community directives, standards, and tradecraft documents.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate technical information in concise, consistent, understandable language.
  • Experience reviewing, editing, correcting, and validating written, online, and graphical analytic content.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take and pass polygraph examination.
