Laboratory Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Laboratory Director to lead our clinical laboratory team in Northeast Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology, biomedical science, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive laboratory management experience.

• Oversee the daily operations of the clinical laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Lead a team of medical technologists and laboratory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with hospital administrators and clinicians to develop and implement laboratory services that meet the needs of patients and the medical center.

• Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry.
• National Certification as a Medical Technologist.
• 7 years of progressive laboratory management experience, with complex laboratory operations.
• Hospital clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
