The Member Engagement Supervisor (MES) plays a crucial role in supporting club management with the daily operations of the facility, ensuring it remains clean, operational, and welcoming.
This position is essential in maintaining a high level of member satisfaction, reinforcing our dedication to an outstanding member experience.
PM Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Saturday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $14.50
Key Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life of an MES:
Promote our fitness vision and culture by ensuring the BEST member experience during their club visit - consistently offering a warm greeting and farewell while anticipating their needs.
Conduct club tours and inform prospective members about the benefits of Club Fitness amenities and services.
Train and guide staff on front desk operations, member check-ins/POS, and maintaining facility cleanliness.
Assist club management with daily tasks, including performing daily facility audits and delegating cleaning or other responsibilities based on audit findings.
Ensure accurate member check-ins and kids club check-ins for the safety of our members and staff.
Maintain a tidy and organized club in accordance with company standards by conducting regular walk-throughs and cleaning designated areas.
Provide a safe, enjoyable, and engaging environment for children ages 2 and up in the Kids Club.
Interact with new and existing members, guiding them to Club Fitness amenities and services to support their fitness and health objectives.
Accurately process point of sales transactions (retail, smoothies, tanning, etc.).
Inform management of gym incidents that necessitate incident reports.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, required
18 years of age or older, required
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality, preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage stressful situations with professionalism and a positive demeanor
Strong multitasking capabilities
Flexibility to work varying hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This role requires travel to the corporate office and other Club Fitness locations as necessary for training and meetings.
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of standing and moving throughout the facility
Occasional lifting of gym equipment may be necessary
