At RCM Life Sciences and IT, we are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Specialist. This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your technical expertise in site design, industrial, electrical substations, and miscellaneous projects.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with 3-10 years of experience in site design, preferably with industrial and/or Substation design experience. As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and calculations using AutoCad Civil 3D, Bentley Open programs, HydroCad or other design software.
You will also be required to prepare calculations using Excel and MathCAD, conduct site visits and field investigations, and work within a team-oriented environment to successfully complete projects within established deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Site Design Expertise: Develop and review design drawings, specifications, and calculations for industrial, electrical substations, and miscellaneous projects.
- Design Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCad Civil 3D, Bentley Open programs, HydroCad or other design software to create and review designs.
- Calculation Preparation: Prepare calculations using Excel and MathCAD to support design decisions.
- Site Investigations: Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and inform design decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree: Hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Certifications: Possess EIT or Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of site design experience, preferably in industrial and/or Substation design.
