We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Medication Management: Interpret and transcribe medication orders, maintain accurate patient medication profiles, and monitor drug therapies for contraindications and adverse reactions.
- Pharmacoeconomic Efforts: Support the pharmacy's pharmacoeconomic efforts by reviewing medication use and compliance with current programs.
- Drug Therapy Regimens: Monitor and optimize drug therapy regimens for patients, including contraindications, drug-drug reactions, and drug-food interactions.
- Pharmacokinetic Consults: Assist with pharmacokinetic consult service and drug dosing regimens per hospital protocol.
- Education: Doctorate degree in Pharmacy required.
- Licensure: Licensed in the State of Oklahoma (interns must be licensed within 90 days).
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience in Pharmacy required; 1-3 years hospital experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, handle stress, and communicate effectively; proficiency in MS Office and Pyxis experience.
