Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. The LPN will observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
  • Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care
  • Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate coordination of individualized patient care
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation
