- 5-10 years of experience in designing and developing power electronics, specifically inverters for motors ranging from 50kW to 200kW.
- Strong understanding of motor control theory applicable to surface and interior permanent magnet machines.
- 3-5 years of aerospace experience with a solid foundation in DO-160 compliance.
- 3-5 years of experience in writing embedded software in C for the control of inverters and/or other power electronics in aerospace contexts.
- 3-5 years of familiarity with DO-178B software requirements for aerospace applications.
- Experience in schematic capture and PCB design.
- Proficiency in component selection.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and testing high voltage/high power systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Altium Designer.
- Experience with wide bandgap semiconductors.
- Knowledge of regulatory certification processes.
- Expertise in design-for-reliability methodologies, including DFMEA and fault tree analysis.
- Experience designing for high electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments.
- Familiarity with battery systems.
