We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health FirstChoice. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional leadership in the delivery of patient care, utilizing advanced practice procedures such as operating balloon pumps, working in NICU, and performing Pulmonary Function testing.
- Participate in orientation of staff and student training programs, representing the Respiratory Care department.
- Behave in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and guiding behaviors of SJMHS, using AIDET principles when interfacing/treating every patient.
- Provide a consistent experience to patients, families, visitors, and internal customers by using Key Words at Key Times.
- Serve as a consultant, resource person, and role model, representing respiratory care in health system committees or work groups as needed.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information according to HIPPA guidelines, facilitating good rapport and cooperative relationships.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist per AARC guidelines, obtaining and maintaining competencies per RT II orientation.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with a license in the state(s) you will work.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, depending on specialty area.
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
- Premium pay for flexible scheduling.
