Position Overview: Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

The RN will report to the Unit Director/Manager, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive nursing care during assigned shifts. In the absence of the Unit Director/Manager, the RN will collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator. The role involves professional nursing practice grounded in current medical knowledge, utilizing the nursing process to assess patient needs, formulate care plans, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Ability to function effectively as part of a team and act as a liaison between patients and healthcare staff.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  3. Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  4. Demonstrate emotional resilience and a calm demeanor when working with patients in distress.
Licensure and Certifications:
  1. Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  2. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, with renewal every two years.
  3. Maintain an updated NIHSS certificate.
