Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a diagnostic imaging setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
