Optometrist Position

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at Fortney Eyecare Associates in the Detroit metropolitan area. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing various duties related to eye care and vision healthcare.

Responsibilities and Duties: Your key responsibilities will include performing comprehensive eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, and treating eye diseases. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Benefits and Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $70 to $85 per hour, plus bonus. In addition to the base salary, you will receive benefits such as health and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick time off, retirement plan, and employee discount.

Requirements and Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and a valid state license to practice optometry in Michigan. Willingness to travel locally 25-30% is also required.
