Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations, ensuring the proper fit of amplification devices, and providing counseling to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer a range of audiological tests to assess hearing levels and identify potential damage to the auditory system.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on diagnostic findings, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with patient authorization.
  • Counsel patients and their families regarding test results and recommendations, and confer with medical staff to address audiological and vestibular problems.
  • Provide didactic and practical training to residents, medical students, and other hospital staff.
  • Participate in research, conferences, and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in audiology.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Audiology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current License to practice as an Audiologist in New York State, and Current Clinical Competence - AUD (ASHA) Certification.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, with ENT experience preferred.
