Interventional Radiology Technologist Position

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel position in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Position patients and equipment, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast.
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update patient records.
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
