**Job Overview**

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a valid CDL A license and 12+ months of commercial driving experience. You will be responsible for:

  • Driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Maintaining accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Performing pre- and post-trip safety checks, inspecting vehicles, and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid CDL A license.
  • Have 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • Be able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout your shift.
  • Pass a background check, DOT physical, and drug test.
  • Be willing to work a 4-day work week with daily home time.
