The RN Orthopedics PRN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
  • Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
  • Attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice
  • Exercise independent judgment in relation to patient care based on level of experience and knowledge, while working within an interdisciplinary team
  • Evaluate own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines relevant to statutes, rules, and regulations
  • Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in planning and delivering nursing care
  • Follow established patient safety guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patient's care which results in harm
  • Perform unit-specific duties as defined and represented by the unit-specific competency requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned within defined competencies, including floating to various units based on business needs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Additional certifications as noted below and in unit-specific competencies
