Are you an aspiring Electrical Technician, Electrician Assistant, or a recent graduate from an electrical trade program eager to kickstart your career in the electrical industry?
Volt is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing firm to recruit several Electrical Assembly Technicians to begin work promptly.
As an Electrical Assembly Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Constructing components and assembling electrical and electronic wiring systems.
  • Executing comprehensive tasks to fabricate, assemble, and install production units, including control consoles, junction boxes, instrument panels, relay panels, and battery racks.
  • Interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, standard work sheets, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and established manufacturing practices.
  • Selecting, cutting, routing, fastening, sleeving, tying, and lugging wires; assembling and installing wiring harnesses.
  • Locating, drilling, mounting, and securing components.
  • Installing control consoles, junction boxes, instrument/relay panels, resistors, capacitors, filters, diodes, circuit boards, heat and speed sensors, transformers, meters, malfunction indicators, circuit breakers, and fuses.
Requirements:
  • Preferred experience of 1 year or more in a related field; however, we welcome applications from recent electrical trade school graduates or current students pursuing their certification.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as crimpers, wire cutters, soldering irons, drills, and screwdrivers.
  • Capability to read and understand schematics or technical drawings.
**We are hiring for various shifts. While we prefer candidates who can work either shift, flexibility is appreciated. All employees must undergo training on the first shift for one month.** Positions are temporary for 15 months, with a strong likelihood of transitioning to permanent roles within 2 to 3 months.
  • $20.00/hour for 1st shift - 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
  • $20.75/hour for 2nd shift - 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Compensation offered to successful candidates will be determined based on various factors, including education, work experience, job location, specific responsibilities, and certifications.
