Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

A leading provider of contract intermodal terminal management services is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Jacksonville, FL.
The ideal candidate will have previous working knowledge of air brake systems, diesel engine diagnostics, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical circuitry, and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on diesel and hostler equipment in compliance with manufacturers' and company schedules.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.
• Read and interpret diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment such as Cummins Insite.
Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License
• Open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining heavy equipment within the Construction, Transportation, or Intermodal Industry
• Prior experience with Cummins diesel engines and D.E.F. systems is beneficial
• Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check
