We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our interdisciplinary team within the Main Operating Room at UVA Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Monitor and report patient vital signs and other relevant information
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with surgical procedures as needed
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification
