Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Tutor Shelton. As an Instruction and Classroom Support Tech, you will play a vital role in providing academic support to students in various non-stem related subject areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students in one or more non-stem related subject areas.
  • Assist students in analyzing assignments and assigned readings.
  • Assist students in interpreting discipline-specific problems and situations.
  • Assist students in clarifying critical thinking and/or communication skills.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate, Equivalent or Current Running Start Student.
  • Completion of course(s) to be tutored with an average decimal grade of 3.5 or higher.
  • Basic computer competency.
  • Demonstrate excellence in tutoring subject area.
  • Follow campus regulations local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances.

Additional Information: This is an hourly position scheduled to work up to 18 hours per week. Hours worked are limited to 79 hours per month or 450 hours in a 6-month period. Flexibility in scheduling is needed to meet the demands of the department. The salary for this position is $18.20 - $24.23 DOE per hour.
