Davies Risk Services is seeking independent contractors to perform insurance property inspections in Alta, CA. As an independent contractor, you will work with our insurance carrier clients to assess the condition of properties and provide valuable insights to their underwriters.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule appointments with property owners to conduct thorough property inspections
- Photograph and evaluate the overall condition of properties, identifying potential areas of risk
- Communicate effectively with clients and underwriters through phone, email, and face-to-face discussions
- Complete detailed reports of your findings and upload photos to our field service platform
- Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards
- Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
- Travel locally to perform field inspections
- Reliable transportation, a Microsoft computer, smartphone, and home internet
- Observant and curious nature, with ability to take accurate measurements and photos
- Strong time management and verbal/written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including typing, uploading, and downloading documents
- Background in construction, firefighting & safety, real estate, or previous military service is beneficial
- Must reside in the advertised geographic area
