JOB SUMMARY:

The Facility Cleaner is tasked with executing daily responsibilities in line with established standards and organizational policies. This role is a full-time position, typically from 7am to 3pm.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Understand and adhere to work schedules and assignments
  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas according to daily routines
  • Conduct cleaning operations in various locations such as entryways, restrooms, patient rooms, and dining facilities
  • Monitor and replenish dispensers with necessary supplies
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during cleaning activities
  • Notify management of low cleaning supply inventory
  • Assist in lifting heavy equipment as required
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and efficiently
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Uphold patient dignity and respect
  • Engage in training programs as necessary
  • Promptly report incidents, accidents, and hazardous conditions
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
  • Effectively manage multiple responsibilities
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Exposure to hazardous materials
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Work environment may require flexibility in hours and occasional weekend shifts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
