Job Overview

The Electrical Assembly Technician at Maverick Power LLC plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, focusing on the assembly, fitting, and installation of electrical control components. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire control panels, switchgear, and switchboards.
  • Interpret and execute wiring diagrams independently to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Wire various electronic devices, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Assemble electrical switchboard equipment with precision.
  • Follow oral and written instructions, as well as technical drawings, to complete assigned tasks.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitor job progress and communicate any issues or shortages in materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, maintaining a positive work environment and supporting colleagues during peak production times.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly or a manufacturing environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
  • Experience in manufacturing and assembling electrical equipment, particularly panelboards and switchboards.
  • Proficient in wiring power meters and control systems.
  • Familiarity with various tools, including manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, as well as measuring and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and point-to-point diagrams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to changing production demands.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds regularly.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Competence in following manufacturing drawings and instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace.
  • Active participation in health and safety training programs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Mandatory use of safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling tools.
