Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies and equipment as necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a dental assistant required.
- X-Ray Certification preferred.
- Experience with dental implants preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems preferred.
