About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional with the Friendship Community Care, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily living skills. This includes assisting with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and personal hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills, promoting independence and dignity
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues
• Pass background checks and maintain a clean driving record
• Provide transportation for individuals, ensuring a safe and reliable service

Requirements

• Valid AR driver's license and reliable transportation with state minimum liability insurance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
