About the Position

We are looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our Brokerage Data Science team at Robinhood. This role will involve developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive growth of our brokerage businesses.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain large-scale datasets using SQL and Spark to inform business decisions.
  2. Design and implement data and modeling solutions leveraging advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and quantitative finance models to price securities and assess risk.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate model-driven decision flow into business processes.
  4. Conduct regular analyses to evaluate model performance and associated business value.
Essential Qualifications
  • A PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering with 3+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Passion for applying modeling and engineering skills to solve complex business problems.
  • Advanced data wrangling skills to produce high-quality analytics insights.
  • Expertise in quantitative finance models, including but not limited to asset volatility models, factor models, and options pricing models.
