Job Summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Taylorville Correctional Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to inmates, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions
Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
Participate in training and education programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

Current, valid IL State Registered Nursing License
Current CPR Certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute)
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional nursing experience a plus
