Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy in the medication dispensing process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with the front-end team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Triage customer service requests, calculate and verify correct dosages, and assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and provide dispensing pharmacists with critical information on allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications.
Requirements:
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • PTCB National Certification.
