Early Childhood Educator

Job Overview
Anoka-Hennepin Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Our preschool serves 3-5 year old children with the goal of preparing them for kindergarten by providing a variety of early learning experiences.

About the Role
This part-time position involves assisting in daily and weekly planning, setting up materials and activities for children aged 3-5. The successful candidate will also conduct group and individual activities, teach academic and social skills through planned learning activities, participate in staff meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be physically able to work in the building, and have demonstrated ability to work with parents and children one-on-one or in groups. You should also have knowledge of child development, be able to maintain regular attendance, and be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $17.09/hour and up, depending on qualifications. Insurance benefit eligibility is based on position and days and hours worked. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
