We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle School Music Educator to join our team at Henderson Collegiate. As a Band Director, you will be responsible for leading our middle school band program and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

• Teaching and Curriculum Development
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum to meet the needs of our students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure student understanding and meet differentiated student needs
• Classroom Management and Leadership
  • Develop and uphold a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and respect for all students
  • Lead students in whole-class and small-group settings, cultivating intellectual curiosity and a love of learning
• Communication and Collaboration
  • Build deep relationships with students, families, and staff to foster a culture of joy and community
  • Communicate effectively with families about student progress and collaborate closely with teammates to support student success

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
  • Experience teaching music in a middle school setting
