General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Senior Specialist to join our team in Niceville.

This role involves participating in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements, evaluating contract compliance, and advising on contractual rights and obligations. The successful candidate will prepare bids and requests for proposals, negotiate contract terms, and ensure contracts align with management goals and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, negotiate, and revise contracts.
  • Ensure contracts are consistent with management goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle the acquisition, distribution, and storage of purchases.
  • Assure that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
  • Generate, maintain, and audit a central contract-resource file.
  • Ensure necessary procedural controls exist.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a related field.
  • Organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and leadership skills.
