We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in California. As a Break Relief RN, you will provide safe and effective patient care in various hospital departments, including Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing. Your expertise will be utilized to provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs working in these departments.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the nursing process to provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients in selected/assigned hospital nursing departments.
- Provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs working in Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments.
- Maintain the required proof of competency to ensure you are performing at the expected level of patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and Nurse House Supervisor to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Current unencumbered California RN License.
- Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS.
- BLS must be from American Heart.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. 6 months recent experience in Emergency or Critical Care setting is required.
Shifts:
Day shift 7a to 7:30p.
