Key Responsibilities:
1. **Operational Leadership:**
- Direct daily breeder operations to guarantee the availability of hatch eggs in the required quantity and quality.
- Implement and oversee all production programs related to pullets and breeders.
2. **Team Development:**
- Ensure the training and professional growth of all supervisors managing pullet and breeder flocks.
- Provide guidance and communication to all contract producers involved in pullet and breeder operations.
3. **Performance Monitoring:**
- Track the development and performance of contract producers, ensuring adherence to vaccination and health protocols.
- Supply performance metrics and cost analysis to upper management and accounting departments.
4. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Promote safety practices among service personnel and ensure compliance with health standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in poultry production operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
Educational Background:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
