Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst will serve as the primary financial support to two colleges at the Daytona Beach Campus, working closely with the college Deans on all financial matters relating to the college. This role involves forecasting and analyzing college budgets, providing monthly updates of financial activity, and re-forecasting annual performance. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strategic thinking and decision-making skills, and the ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with college Deans to develop and implement financial plans
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and college leadership
- Coordinate with department chairs and administrative staff on operational budgeting and capital planning
- Manage donor-sponsored accounts and assist with fundraising efforts
- Provide financial guidance to faculty and staff on hiring and recruitment processes
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- 3-5 years of higher education experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
