Job Summary

The School Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.

  • Transport students safely and efficiently to and from District schools.
  • Correct student behavior as needed.
  • Assist students on and off the bus as needed.
  • Establish bus routes on a daily basis.
  • Inspect the bus regularly and report any needed repairs.
  • Report accidents and complete accident reports.

Essential Functions

  • Participate in staff development programs.
  • Check mail daily and take mail to schools daily.
  • Process monthly reports and keep records of mileage and times.
  • OBEY all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain radio contact with dispatch during routes.
