Job Overview

Summary: Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the property and its apartments in accordance with company standards.

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8-hour shifts

Work Environment: Single location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold cleanliness in leasing office areas, model units, fitness centers, and other communal spaces as instructed.
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds and organizing community furniture on a daily basis.
  • Sanitize community restrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, and fixtures on a daily basis.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and mop hard floors regularly.
  • Clean windows and perform spot cleaning on walls.
  • Dust furniture, walls, and decorative items.
  • Organize offices and empty trash bins daily.
  • Clean baseboards, pictures, lighting fixtures, and HVAC vents.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the property maintains excellent curb appeal.
  • Foster a positive customer service relationship.
  • Inspect exterior grounds and buildings, including breezeways, on a daily basis.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the mailbox area.
  • Distribute and/or post correspondence, newsletters, and flyers.
  • Assist during turnover events as needed.
  • Prepare vacant units throughout the year and support during turnover.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Adhere to the company dress code.

Qualifications:

  • No specific educational qualifications required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Physical demands include the ability to operate general cleaning equipment and tools, including hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers, and hoses.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds, particularly when handling trash bags and cleaning equipment.
  • Frequent bending and/or stooping is required for cleaning and debris removal, as well as the use of a step ladder.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness are essential.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
