We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Cat Scan equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cat Scan equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients, adjusting equipment and patient positioning as needed.
- Position patients to achieve optimal radiographic images, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Examine radiographs for positioning, technique, and adequacy of examination, making adjustments as necessary.
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including inputting and editing exams, and completing requisitions.
- Record and maintain data on magnetic disc, tape, PACS, and logs, ensuring accurate identification of film and radiological factors.
- Provide excellent customer service, adhering to our hospital's Customer Service/Service Plus principles and behaviors.
- ARRT (R) certification
- Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist
- Current CPR certification
- ARRT (CT) Credential (must acquire within 1 year)
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning, radiographic techniques, and radiation protection concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of radiographic physics and medical terminology.
- Ability to determine exposure factors to achieve optimum radiographic images with a minimum exposure to patients.
