Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Allergy Partners. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, including preparing patients for exams and treatments, taking vital signs, and performing spirometry and breathing tests as ordered.
  • Assist with patient education, including providing information on pharmaceuticals and supporting business goals.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Facilitate prescriptions and administer allergy injections as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patient medical status and maintain emergency equipment.
  • Perform telephone triage and demonstrate good clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with patients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in the state employed or compact state.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a clinical setting.
  • Understanding of OSHA guidelines for ambulatory practices.
  • Ability to document in the electronic Medical Record and working knowledge of practice management and word processing software.
Working Conditions

Employee will have potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, needle sticks, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Employee will work under stressful conditions and be exposed to bodily fluids on a regular basis.
