Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs and support their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom and promote students' overall development.
  • Monitor progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • New York state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
