Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Resident Care Services to join our team at DHVAJ. This is a full-time position responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical services of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the clinical staff, ensuring the highest level of care and service for our residents.
  • Develop and implement training programs for direct care staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Review and approve promotions, development plans, disciplinary actions, and termination decisions to ensure consistency in staff selection and retention.
  • Assess and manage the care and services for each resident, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their responsible parties regarding care needs and healthcare appointments.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of residents to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Lead meetings to discuss resident care issues, such as service plans.
  • Routinely evaluate resident transfer and mobility needs.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure 24/7 coverage.
