- Float to various areas of the hospital, including North Campus, the Pavilion, and Specialty areas, to respond to patient needs.
- Respond to activations and codes, and lead debriefings to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Proactively round on assigned patients to identify and address potential issues.
- Provide bedside education to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Florida.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- 3-5 years of Critical Care/ICU/ED registered nurse experience.
- BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Professional certification in a relevant specialty.
The Rapid Response RN works in a fast-paced environment, responding to patient needs in various areas of the hospital. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
